Hey, I'm Guen
I am an award winning photographer living in Idaho. I am officially claiming Idaho as my home, even though I have lived in 15+ cities. I can listen to a good song 100 times. I'm most calm during savasana on my mat. I could eat dark chocolate all day everyday. If I could meet one celebrity, it would be Will Smith. I believe mindfulness in life is key to success. I am learning how to grow a garden and take care of our multiple fruit trees. I absolutely thrive in the outdoors! I own a ridiculous amount of board games-for our weekly game nights.
My clients tell me I am easy to work with, happy, vibrant and always smiling. Oh...and I love to talk - a lot! Often during our photo sessions- it feels like I am hanging out with life long friends having fun, so I think this helps us all be comfortable with each other! I consider myself as a 'forever student,' eager to learn and build on my continued coursework and professional development.
I married my husband in 2011. The saying "opposites attract" couldn't be more true in our love story. We are complete opposites-(I'm talking "pickles and peanut butter" or "sauerkraut and ice cream" type of opposites) it somehow works-me all the talking-him all the listening.
We have 3 kind, crazy, loud, long-haired boys. Oldest is Theodore, also known as Teddy. Middle wild child is Timothy, who is convinced his full name is Timmy-not Timothy. & our 3rd is Tobias, who goes by Toby. Might just have to give them the nickname of 'triple T'. We are expecting a baby girl in Sept 2021, so not sure what to do with all T names but we are so excited! We just added a mini golden doodle named Oliver to our beautiful chaos of a family.
We love house but we basically live outside. Our backyard is our happy place where we spend 95% of our daily lives. We love having meals with friends and meeting new people by enjoying some delicious food together. We have weekly game nights, and I might be overly competitive. We do weekly movie nights as well, and my favorites are outside under the stars in our backyard.
